I'd prefer it if it was TWO armour sets per case, but I'm awkward like that. Nice idea and more convienient that slamming a special Xunlai box in HoM under the armour display.

Probably the first armor-storage idea I like.
Please don't add something like : only 1 kind of armor set in a luggage(let's call it that way).
BTW am I the only one who almost alway use mismatched armor?

Yea.. don't make it an armor set... otherwise I won't be able to store my Dwarf armor.. and I would cry..
but make it something like 5 slots.. 1 can only hold a head piece, 1 can only hold a chest piece.. etc. That way you can put any armor set together in there.

I have something very similar to this. I click on my Rit in the char selection screen and voila! A very unhappy Rit carrying a bunch of armor that isn't hers
Seriously though.../signed for this and all the suggestions like it. I'd love *something* to consolidate my gear.

*me calls in Mithran to explain why this doesn't fix anything
While we'd all like more storage, just having fancy names to explain how its done doesn't mean it will take up less server space or is any more pratical for A.net to do.

still anet refuses to improve their game (they rather destroy skills)

Not needed, seeing as storage isn't an actual problem, per se; but I can see how this might be nice.

Yes please. It would be less of a hassle to carry around 5 armor sets in one inventory slot rather than 25 pieces of armor in 25 inventory slots on my warrior.

Yeah sure why not.
It's definitely possible, as compound objects such as the incubator in the Black Moa Quest shows, and it'd free up a bunch of storage space for me.

If the main reason for more storage is because people need to have multiple sets of armour maybe we need to change armour.
If runes could be put on and extracted at will with no failure rate and if the look of armour could be customised also at will for a small charge that should reduce some of the pressure.
Im not saying make armour you have owned work like festival hats but something similar would help the fashion and farming fraternity get around the multi armour set problem.
Main problem with these discussions is few of us know what creates problems for them to implement and what doesn't.
I have no idea if allowing items in storage to stack increases server load or not.

Yes the mechanics are there with the incubator...but I can't help but think that the coding for a piece of armor customized to a player, with a dye combo, insignia and rune attached is a bit more involved than the coding for a skale fin or a volcanic rock.
I'd love to see this happen. My warrior has a full inv of pretty much armor and various weapons. I take them all out and load them into the storage chest when I'm using another character, but that takes a whole lot of time and sometimes I don't have enough slots in storage to fit them all.
Turning my 8 sets into 8 slots would help immensely.

Yes please.
It would be nice to reclaim some storage space, especially since they encouraged us to get so much armor (aside from other things that take up a good deal of space) for our HoM's.

need armor storage! AH! several of my characters have little/no inventory space. 5-10sets + random pieces + weapons on 10 characters takes up a lot of room o_O a form of storage for it would definitly be nice

This is exactly my situation, apart from my warrior also takes up 10 storage slots with armour too.
